Design Your own Art Project
Above Image Final Draft
As a 21st century learner I completed this project by persevering through what I didn't know. I also advocated to learn how to do what I had trouble figuring out. I did this by project by figuring out my artistic skills in logo design, and I feel like I want to do this kind of work further on in life. Being a 21st century learner means that you use very helpful skills and apply them to your work as best as you can. After I finished this project I feel that I have gained a new set of skills in logo design, and I feel that I am more prepared with putting images on computers and scanning my artwork.
Teacher Creature Project
Teacher Creature Project
The teacher creature project was for the digital arts students to pick one of their teachers and turn them into a creature of some kind. For the teacher creature project I took a photo of Dave Heerschap and put his face on a sunflower in the middle of space. The hardest part of this project for me was to figure out what I wanted to do and then start it. My favorite part of this project was inserting all the pictures I picked out, and seeing how they all came together. I learned that as an Animas student I have a lot of random thoughts.

Elements of design
Elements of Design: The elements of design are the raw materials of an artist- the visual components of art.
Color: Color depends on light because it is made of light. There must be light for us to see color.
Line: A line is created by the movement of a tool and pigment, and often suggests movement in a drawing or painting.
Value: Value contrast to help us to see and understand a two-dimensional work of art. Value contrast is also evident in colors, which enables us to read shapes in a painting.
Texture: Texture refers to the surface quality, both simulated in actual, of artwork.
Shape: Shapes have two dimensions, length and width, and can be geometric or free form. Design is basically the planned arrangement of shapes in a work of art.
Form: Shape and form have the same qualities except shape is two-dimensional and form is three-dimensional, it describes volume and mass.
Space: Actual space is a three-dimensional volume that can be empty or filled with objects.
